Kodak Black has made no secret of his admiration for Donald Trumpsince being pardoned by the then-president at the very end of his term, and now he’s taking thingsfurther by releasing merch that pays tribute to Trump’s now-famous pose in the aftermath of the assassination attempt against him.
On Friday (July 26), Kodak’s Sniper Gang Apparel shared a new shirt design called “Fight.” It recreates the scene of Trump raising his fistto the Butler, Pennsylvania crowd and chanting, “Fight! Fight! Fight!”while being whisked away by the Secret Service following Thomas Matthew Crooks’ gunfire.
In Yak’s version, the Trump figure is made to have Kodak’s skin color and face tattoos, but The Donald’s hair, and Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan is changed to “Make America Gleeful Again.” Check it out below:
The “Fight” shirt retails for $40 and can be found at Sniper Gang Apparel’s website.
The shirt isn’t the only time recently that Kodak has stuck up for Trump in the aftermath of the assassination attempt.
Earlier this month, the Florida rapper called out Plies for his comments about the event.
Kodak, who is a longstanding supporter of Trump’s, took aim at his “Real Hitta” collaborator for being unsympathetic after the Republican was nearly killed by a gunman at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
After the incident, Plies launched into a tirade on X (formerly Twitter) in which he suggested that the shooting was staged and slammed Trump for “play[ing] the victim” after “push[ing] hate for the last eight years.”
“And U Know What’s Even More Crazy He Was In The Middle Telling A ‘LIE’ Right When This Happen!!!!” he added. “Man God Tied Of Your Sh*t Bruh!! Remember He Was Makin Fun Of Nancy Pelosi Husband Getting Hit In The Head With A Hammer!! God Don’t Like Ugly Bruh!!”
The “Bust It Baby” hitmaker also doubled down on his support for current president and Trump’s then-political opponent Joe Biden: “Dear @JoeBiden U’d Be Damn Fool To Slow Down Your Campaign! Use This Moment To Push The Agenda U Been Pushing Banning Assault Rifles & Gun Violence Etc.
“Chaos Vs A Steady Hand! Can’t Run On Hate & Act Surprise When It Happens! Unify The Country & Show What Leadership Looks Like!”
Kodak Black called out Plies for his comments, saying on Instagram Live: “We ain’t goin’ for no Trump slander, bruh. You gotta get off that shit, Plies. Trump ain’t did nuthin’ to you, you feel me? You rich, bruh, we rich. Fall back, love ’cause shit can get mafioso, boy.”
